Downtown Comics

The source for comics and pop culture in Indianapolis since 1993

Looks different, huh? We are proud to launch our new website. We liked the old one but in this new age of myspace and Utube we thought we needed an upgrade. For those who previously had log-in's on our old site you will have to create a new profile but we think it will be worth your time. You will now have your own page to make your own. Blog, post pictures and videos, RSS feed other websites to your page, and much more. Some simple rules for anyone using our site. While you can post and blog to your hearts content on your page, we will decide what goes on the front of the site (so it doesn't get too crowded). Keep it clean (blogs, videos, pictures). And talk about the things you like. Like a comic, movie, TV show tell people. Please feel free to RSS my blog to your desktop, it will contain the weekly shipping list (posted on Fridays now) as well as other musings of mine. We are just getting started this year so get on board.

Nope, you have to use separate emails. Actually we have email addresses for each of the stores so that will be ok.

I'll try it

Ida know...did you try using the same e-mail twice? I have about 10 profiles on Hamilton County Today, but I generated a separate e-mail address for each one.

That sounds right to me. I like each store having a sub-group. Also, can we make the store names(in 'contact us') each a link to a google map? I'll do a castleton profile to fiddle around. Having to use a separate email for each profile seems cumbersome. Do i have to do that or am i ignorantly not seeing something?

I still say you should start a separate profile for Downtown Comics the chain...and use that profile for shipping this week and official announcements. That way your personal blog posts aren't mixed in with the announcements.

It might not be a bad idea for each individual store to have its own profile either, complete with a map to that store, contact info for that store, etc. I could link to these store profiles from the main page of the site.

Also, the other stores could have their own groups like the Greenwood store seems to.
