Hard to believe it but Amerigo Vespucci Day does not affect new comics WEDNESDAY this week. Deadpool finally makes it to 900 this week (about time). Cowboy Ninja Viking combines 3 of my 4 favorite things so this looks cool. Akira comes back into popular consciousness from a brand new publisher. And if you're looking for a book of the weird this week it would be Groom Lake by Ben (your art is really cool and I don't know why) Templesmith.

Comment by Brooks Bowden on October 11, 2009 at 9:01pm - It's funny, i was trying to add up all the 900 Deadpool issues, i'm a little off. Lets see: New Mutants 98, Circle Chase #1-4; then Sins Of the Past #1-4; Deadpool vol.1 0-69; a few annuals and one-shots here and there, Cable/Deadpool #1-50; a few more one shots, a mini series, the current series #1-16, merc #1-3, so that adds up to 163 comics for Deadpool. Oh well thats close enough.
