Downtown Comics

The source for comics and pop culture in Indianapolis since 1993

It seems odd to me that the website does not list the hours of operation for any of the stores. I would think that would be useful information to potential customers.

We have hours here: http://www.downtowncomics.biz/

Monday 11am to 8pm
Tuesday 11am to 8pm
Wednesday 11am to 8pm
Thursday 11am to 8pm
Friday 11am to 8pm
Saturday 11am to 8pm
Sunday 12pm-5pm

I believe those are for the suburban stores. Last I checked the Downtown store had different hours:

Mon-Sat. 10 am - 6 pm
Sun. Closed

You're right, those should be on the main page somewhere. Not sure why they aren't. Hours are subject to change, however, so the best bet is to call the stores and ask. Sometimes we stay open later or open earlier for sales, special events, new comic book day, etc.

Ah, with all the information crammed onto that front page, the basic info just got overlooked. Yeah, we need to put that on the main page. I put downtown store hours in the profile for the downtown store. http://www.downtowncomics.com/profile/dugitman . Ryan can you add that store tab we have been talking about?

I second this. I was looking all over the site to find the Greenwood store hours. I finally gave up and did a google search and found this thread.

Also there is an online store tab that appears on some pages (I clicked on it hoping to find the hours) that goes to a deadend.

I blame Doug for this egregious oversight.

Aw Jimmy Woo (Oh, that guy on the far left is supposed to be Jimmy Woo, by the way), why do you have to spoil Ken “Gorilla Man” Hale’s fun? If Marvel Boy doesn’t mind having a miniseries with the word “Uranus” in the title, why not let him? Anyway, it looks like everyone finally [...]

Chuck back in action on DVD, TV this week

NBC’s Chuck: The Complete Second Season hits the stores today on DVD and Blu-Ray. Go buy it. Chock full of geek humor, clever homages and plain, old-fashioned great characters, Chuck is the story of a brilliant-but-underachieving retail employee who becomes conscripted to work for the government when a top-secret intelligence-gathering computer is downloaded into his brain, leaving the [...]

WORLD OF HURT - “The Thrill-Seekers” Episode 19

(Click the image above for a larger version of the strip.) WORLD OF HURT - The Thrill-Seekers - Episode 19: “Delivering Pain” This was more like it.  To make up for, what I felt were lackluster efforts in the previous two weeks, I decided to bring some action, a recap panel, and two tiers of bonecrushing action. The [...]
