Hey everybody. I live downtown and want to get back into playing Magic. Does anybody want to get together to play?

What do you play? I want to get back into it as well, but I am all casual.

I'm definitely into casual play. I'm looking for a casual draft maybe once a week or every other week. Something like your standard friday night magic.

that would be cool, but we need more than a few of us.

Yeah, unfortunately, I don't have any cards so I can't play anything that requires cards. Although, I suppose I could buy a theme deck and play with that to start. Do you have a bunch of cards left over from when you used to play?

I am all casual for sure.

I still have alot of cards, like at least 4 big boxes full. You should just buy some lot on ebay. Invest about 50 bucks and get urself a solid collection to get going.

I just started a meetup group.

I'm big into Drafts and Sealed Events. Casual, non-tourney play.

I started it last night, so not a whole lot of people up yet.
hoping to get something going semi-regularly.

note: 74 people have said they're interested in an Indy M:TG Group. and an e-mail goes out to them Sunday(automaticly, from Meetup). I'm going around to stores this weekend to talk to them about play space and avoiding the Friday Night Magic Type 2 events that are all around the city.

It couldn’t have happened to a nicer two issues of [...]

Comics Grinder: Fall Out Toy Works

We have an appropriate comic to consider this holiday season, a story involving a toy maker. But this story is not as sweet as it may seem, as often is the case with the good stuff. Fall Out Toy Works is an unusual comic. If you follow Comics Grinder, you know I’m a huge fan of [...]
